Unisg and forty other such endeavours, hailing from 38 different countries and various sectors within Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Australia, were awarded the sought-after Prize

On December 9, the University of Gastronomic Sciences received the International Quality Diamond Prize, organised and awarded by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), in Vienna, Austria.

Awarded by ESQR, a European organisation that promotes quality awareness and recognizes good business practices, technological innovation and quality achievements, the International Quality Diamond Prize is dedicated to those companies, public administrations, organisations and universities who showed economic progress, both for them and their communities as a whole.

This year, the University of Gastronomic Sciences and forty other such endeavours, hailing from 38 different countries and various sectors within Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Australia, were awarded the sought-after Prize.

For the award ceremony, Director of Research and Third Mission, Professor Luisa Torri, went to Vienna for a morning conference and an award ceremony, both held on December 9. The morning conference required each representative to give a short presentation on their activities, while the award ceremony and concurrent gala dinner were a place to celebrate the achievements and to network among one another.
