On December 10, 1989, delegates from around the world signed the Slow Food Manifesto at the Opéra Comique theater in Paris, officially launching the movement’s international activities.
To mark the 30th anniversary of this important date, the “30 Years of the Slow Food Manifesto – Our Food, Our Planet, Our Future” campaign will involve Slow Food network members around the world who will be organizing events that celebrate the work done so far and raise funds in order to continue and multiply our projects for food education, biodiversity protection and strengthening and supporting small-scale food producers.
