Migranti FF Rewind Showcase Starts Thursday November 2 in Bra. New Call for Submissions for 2018 Now Online

After the success of its first edition this June, planning for the Migranti Film Festival 2018 is already well underway in Pollenzo.
A new call for submissions has gone online recently, and the “Migranti Film Festival Rewind” is about to start, a showcase of films that will be screened in November and December in Bra.
Organized by the University of Gastronomic Sciences and its students, in collaboration with Slow Food and ASBAR, the Senegalese Bra Alba Roero and Langhe Association, with the support of the Fondazione CRC and the patronage of the City of Bra, the showcase features a selection of films that were in competition in the 2017 edition of the film festival, screened over five evenings and accompanied by discussions with different communities from outside Italy who live in and around Bra, with tastings of their gastronomic specialties.
This space for intercultural exchange and learning will be coordinated by the UNISG students.
The evenings will start at 9pm and take place in the Centro Culturale Polifunzionale “Giovanni Arpino” in Bra. Entrance is free.
“A year-long festival” is the motto of an event that is fast becoming an important highlight of the annual activities at the Pollenzo university, as it forges increasingly strong links with the local community, opening itself to the different cultures in the area.
