Students from the three-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate degree courses will be discussing their theses on Wednesday December 13

For 17 Italian and international students, their course of studies at UNISG is set to be completed on Wednesday December 13.

The postgraduate students on the two-year degree course will be discussing their theses from 8.45 am, while the undergraduates from the three-year degree course will be examined from 9.15 am. The discussions will take place in the classrooms of the Cascina Albertina in Pollenzo.

Here are their names and the titles of their theses.

Postgraduate Degree

Nicolò Bennicelli, 25, from Genoa, Italy, is presenting the thesis "Il caso di un'azienda agricola multifunzionale e il suo legame con il territorio: l'Umbria" (“The case of a multifunctional farm and its links with the territory: Umbria”), supervised by Professor Damiano Cortese.

Silvia Fantin, 26, from Pordenone, Italy, is presenting the thesis "Certificazioni di sostenibilità: il caso di IKEA FOOD nel quadro della normativa vigente" (“Certifications of sustainability: The case of IKEA FOOD within the framework of current regulations”), supervised by Professor Michele Antonio Fino.

Giacomo Gambarotta, 26, from Genoa, Italy, is presenting the thesis "Food e Franchising: Il caso Panino Giusto" (“Food and Franchising: The Panino Giusto case”), supervised by Professor Damiano Cortese.

Francesca Lingua, 27, from Turin, Italy, is presenting the thesis "La biodiversità vitivinicola del Friuli Venezia-Giulia. Eataly Trieste e il progetto del 'Vivaio' " (“The viticultural and enological biodiversity of Friuli Venezia-Giulia – Eataly Trieste and the ‘Vivaio’ project”),  supervised by Professor Silvestro Greco.

Davide Murroni, 31, from Chiavari (Genoa), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Il contratto di rete nel settore agroalimentare e turistico: ipotesi a Parella" (“The network contract in the food, agriculture and tourism sector: Hypothesis in Parella”), supervised by Professor Michele Antonio Fino.

Matteo Riccomagno, 25, from Chieri  (Turin), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Sulla mimesi del vino: gusto e terroir" (“On wine mimesis: Taste and terroir”), supervised by Professor Nicola Perullo.

Undergraduate Degree

Alessandra Altimare, 24, from Cassina de' Pecchi (Milan), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Analisi dell'aumento del consumo di prodotti senza lattosio e senza glutine" (“Analysis of increased consumption of lactose- and gluten-free products”), supervised by Professor Paolo Corvo.

Sara Anselmi, 22, from Turin, Italy, is presenting the thesis "Informal food markets in South Eastern Europe. Case studies from Greek and Bulgarian Thrace," supervised by Professor Lorenzo Bairati.

Vittoria Borea, 22, from Sanremo (Imperia), Italy, is presenting the thesis "L'approccio sistemico e la sua applicazione per l'analisi olistica del caso FICO Eataly World" (“The systemic approach and its application to a holistic analysis of the FICO Eataly World case”), supervised by Professor Franco Fassio.

Filippo Maria Casè, 22, from Segrate (Milan), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Gli spazi della grande distribuzione: Per un’analisi critica semiotico-estetica" (“The spaces of large-scale distribution: Towards a semiotic-aesthetic critical analysis”), supervised by Professor Nicola Perullo.

Claudio Costantino, 21, from Calanna (Reggio Calabria), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Cibo e abitudini alimentari nel sistema di accoglienza per richiedenti asilo in Italia" (“Food and food habits in the reception system for asylum seekers in Italy”), supervised by Professor Andrea Pezzana.

Gregorio Fortino, 23, from Frascaro (Alessandria), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Food supply chain & blockchain: possibili integrazioni" (“Food supply chain & blockchain: Possible integrations”),  supervised by Professor Franco Fassio.

Maria Virginia La Placa, 22, from Palermo, Italy, is presenting the thesis "Le specie esotiche invasive e il caso del Lagocephalus sceleratus nel Mar Mediterraneo" (“Invasive exotic species and the case of Lagocephalus sceleratus in the Mediterranean Sea”), supervised by Professor Silvestro Greco.

Frida Eleni Maria Linder, 23, from Cologne, Germany, is presenting the thesis "Superfoods - A controversial food trend," supervised by Professor Gabriella Morini.

Luca Nicola, 22, from Turin, is presenting the thesis "The Food Forest - Opportunità produttiva o Territoriale?" (“The Food Forest – Productive or local opportunity?”), supervised by Professor Paola Migliorini.

Lea Teresa Schelling, 21, from Munich, Germany, is presenting the thesis "The evolution of Natural Wine on the German market," supervised by Professor Nicola Perullo.

Silvia Sibille, 22, from Rubiana (Turin), Italy, is presenting the thesis "Foraging in South-East England and North-West Italy. A comparison between 'Forager' and 'Club Amici Valchiusella'," supervised by Professor Andrea Pieroni.
