A summer session of degree thesis examinations will be held on Thursday July 20 from 9.30 am in the Aula Magna of the University of Gastronomic Sciences. Three students will present their final thesis for the three-year undergraduate degree, while one student will present her thesis for the two-year graduate degree.

Below are their names and thesis titles.

Three-Year Undergraduate Degree

Jyothi Aimino, 23, from Borgo Masino, Piedmont, will discuss her thesis entitled "Pellegrino Artusi e la cucina francese: leggere un rapporto attraverso un ricettario" (“Pellegrino Artusi and French cuisine: Reading a relationship through a cookbook”), supervised by Professor Antonella Campanini.

Giada Calzia, 22, from Lucinasco, Liguria, will discuss her thesis entitled "I consumi dell'olio di oliva nel settore della (dell'alta) ristorazione italiana" (“Olive oil consumption in the Italian (fine) dining sector”), supervised by Professor Carmine Garzia.

Federico Tacchella, 23, from Acqui Terme, Piedmont, will discuss his thesis entitled "Gli areali del nebbiolo: influenza dei fattori di qualità in vigna sulla valorizzazione del patrimonio enologico" (“Nebbiolo areas: Influence of vineyard quality factors on the promotion of enological heritage”), supervised by Professor Barbara Dal Bello.

Two-Year Graduate Degree

Matilde Vassoney, 24, from Turin, Piedmont, will discuss her thesis entitled "La coltivazione aeroponica sfruttata per la progettazione di orti urbani verticali" (“Aeroponic cultivation used in the design of vertical urban food gardens”), supervised by Professor Franco Fassio.
