On Wednesday 10 April 15 students - coming from Italy, Switzerland and Cuba - conclude their studies in Pollenzo and present their theses.
Here are their names and thesis titles.

Graduate Degree course in Food Innovation & Management
Simone Biosa, 28 from Olbia, will defend her thesis titled: “Fast Food Sustainability: Systematic Approach to a Responsible Future”, supervised by Prof. Donatella Saccone.
Ernesto Cipullo, 25 from Milano, will defend her thesis titled: “Sustainable Development in the Business Sector: a Case Study on Communication Tools”, supervised by Prof. Franco Fassio.
Enrica Giorgetti, 26 from Castelfidardo, will defend her thesis titled: “How Climate Change and Anthropogenic Activity Affect Food Security Through the Introduction of Alien Marine Species in the Mediterranean Sea: the Case of Callinectes Sapidus (Rathbun, 1896) and Phyllorhiza Punctata (von Lendenfeld, 1884)”, supervised by Prof. Donatella Saccone.
Gianmarco Pilot, 33 from Pomezia, will defend her thesis titled: “The Coffee Quest Case Study: a Story About Ethic and Sustainable Business Development in Colombian Specialty Coffee Sector”, supervised by Chiara Civera.
Alessia Raspo, 24 from Fossano, will defend her thesis titled: “Social Enterprises in the Food Sector: Analyzing the Need for New Business Models”, supervised by Prof. Donatella Saccone.
Valentina Weller, 25 from Alluvioni Piovera, will defend her thesis titled: “Dalla pandemia al post pandemia: come sono cambiate le abitudini di consumo nel mercato del Food & Beverage”, supervised by Prof. Maria Giovanna Onorati.

Gabriele Gibin, 23 from Torino, will defend her thesis titled: “L'impatto dei Social Network sull'immagine e sulla crescita delle aziende gastronomiche”, supervised by Prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Jonas Franz Knecht, 27 from Fällanden (Switzerland), will defend her thesis titled: “Embracing Biocultural Diversity: Lessons for Western Societies from Indigenous Knowledge Through the Lens of Food”, supervised by Prof. Gabriele Volpato.
Amanda Poviones Roche, 26 from La Habana (Cuba), will defend her thesis titled: “Il percorso della gastronomia tradizionale cubana. Sfide e opportunità per il settore della ristorazione privata”, supervised by Prof. Gabriele Volpato.
