The FOOD ON FILM project, funded by the EU (EACEA) under the CREA-MEDIA program of which Slow Food is the leader, started in January 2024. The FOOD on FILM project aims to stimulate the interest of the public, especially young people, through a highly stimulating film education format focused on the close, still largely neglected, relationship of the impact of food on pressing environmental and climate issues. This objective will be achieved through a combination of digital platforms and live experiences, activities in schools and festivals aimed at the general public.
Slow Food and UNISG have been actively and osmotically collaborating for over twenty years to achieve common goals. In recent years, UNISG has equipped itself with a Cinema Lab that organizes courses for all students dedicated to food media strategy, storytelling and social video design for food.
As part of the project, UNISG has been responsible for the Development of the digital platform: technology, contents, materials and Communication, Promotion and dissemination.
