Reception of students with disabilities and LSD
In order to guarantee all students equal opportunities to access culture and education, consistent with the provisions of current legislation on University access, UNISG has adopted special services for students with disabilities and Learning specific disabilities (LSD) in order to listen to their student’s requests, take note of their needs and develop learning support strategies appropriate to individual cases.
Thanks to a careful welcome policy and using compensation mechanisms, the University allows all students to follow the course of study with the support of the appropriate tools, capable to be activated already at the time of enrollment for the admission test.
In the University there is a Head of Disability Management and a UNISG representative at the National University Conference of Delegates for Disability (CNUDD), with guidance and student support functions during the academic career. The above responsibility is assumed by Michele Filippo Fontefrancesco
