The inauguration ceremony of the 2021-22 academic year of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo took place on Friday, the 15th of October.
The morning was opened by the report of rector prof Bartolomeo Biolatti, followed by the speech of the student representatives Maddalena Castellani and Hannah Mcclelland. Guest of honour was architect and senator for life Renzo Piano, who gave the Lectio Magistralis entitled “Come vengono le idee”.
Renzo Piano also spoke with the university students and answered their questions, sharing his experience, his memories and thoughts on the past and the present with them.
The ceremony was closed by the university president Carlo Petrini, who thanked Renzo Piano and all those present.
