Experiences are personal. Everyone will feel their own way about different situations, will have their own view of what is happening right in front of their eyes, collection stories to tell and memories to cherish.
One such memory was shared by alumna Francesca Grazioli, who emotionally spoke about her experience at the University of Gastronomic Sciences and about what her time during her master’s program has taught her, at the Sustainability Conference: Essere Pollenzo, il Rapporto di Sostenibilità 2018 in October. She touched on the many different kinds of diversity present in the university experience, the courage she has gained to face complex issues and the confidence to speak up even if it is uncomfortable, difficult and possible unappreciated.
Having worked at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations and Bioversity International since graduating, she concludes that her journey through UNISG has made her realise where to take her life next: “I want to invest my energy into this: to amplify the number of people who fully utilize their human potential through food as much as possible.”
