Description

The main objective of the “SAMBA” project is to carry out research-intervention and prevention of the most common and recognizable pathological addictions among college students.

The project provides several alternatives of psychological support:

  • Support for students with learning difficulties.
  • Psychological counseling for international students.
  • Psychoeducational groups on unhealthy behaviors.
  • “Beauty as a cure” workshops to reduce anxiety and improve wellness through the contact with nature.
  • “Food and Wellness” workshops, focused on active learning, conscious pleasure and sustainability, with support from gastronomes and psychologists.
  • “Art and Wellness” workshops with artists and psychologists, to improve stress management

In particular, the University of Gastronomic Sciences organizes Food and Wellness Workshops, active and immersive learning experiences. These workshops are inspired by the “One Health” model of health and use the culinary experience as a tool for inclusion and empowerment.
