Every collaboration with UNISG is a gateway to expertise, talent, and resources born from the unique intersection of gastronomic culture and academic research. The Network's services are designed to create tangible value for the organizations that choose to be part of it.
UNISG gastronomists are professionals with a unique background: capable of understanding the food system in all its complexity, navigating across different disciplines, and bringing a critical and innovative approach to any professional context. The Career Center facilitates connections between Network companies and emerging talent from the university through internships, project work, and dedicated recruiting opportunities.
Executive Training designs customized learning paths for Partners and hosts corporate events in the unique setting of Pollenzo: hospitality facilities, educational spaces, a restaurant, and the Banca del Vino, guardian of Italy's wine heritage. A place that transforms every learning opportunity into an unforgettable experience.
The expertise that emerges from Pollenzo—from academic research to gastronomic culture, from field-based learning to sensory analysis—becomes a concrete tool for innovation for Network companies. Through third-party projects, faculty, researchers, and alumni collaborate with institutions and businesses to develop original solutions applied to the real-world challenges of the food system.
Gastronome = Food Specialist
The gastronomist is the professional figure UNISG trains to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving food system. A unique profile, built on an education that integrates natural sciences, social sciences, economics, and food culture, developed through a rigorous academic path and direct experience in regions and supply chains around the world.
Organizations that choose to bring a gastronomist into their team gain a cross-disciplinary and strategic expertise: the ability to interpret the complexity of the global food system and translate it into informed, innovative, and sustainability-driven decisions.
