Company Visits
Theory takes shape in the real world
Company visits take students directly into the very realities they study in the classroom.
Each visit is built around the course themes—it's the moment when theory meets the people who put it into practice every day.
The visit program changes for each course: the locations and companies are chosen based on what is being studied in class, closing the loop between knowledge and hands-on experience. Production companies, industrial operations, processing and distribution supply chains become living learning environments—places to observe, ask questions, and truly understand how the food system works.
This approach allows students to deepen the economic, production, and cultural dynamics explored in class, connecting theoretical content with the real-world choices made by those working in the sector.
Action Learning
Action learning activities are an integral part of the programme, offering direct contact with the reality of the agri-food sector. By going beyond the classroom, students meet professionals, observe food systems in real contexts and apply the knowledge they have acquired. These experiences strengthen critical thinking, collaborative skills and the preparation needed to competently address the challenges of the global food system.
