The catalog of available volumes can be accessed through LibrinLinea, the collective OPAC of Piedmontese SBN libraries, by selecting "Università di Scienze Gastronomiche" under the "Stai cercando in…" section.

The Library is a member of the National Library Service (SBN). Volumes are cataloged according to SBN standards, indexed by subject using the Soggettario di Firenze, and classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (21st edition).

Shared Library Services for Piedmontese and Aosta Valley Universities

Students, faculty, and staff from all member institutions may freely access loan services, on-site consultation, and the full range of resources offered by the libraries of the universities that have signed a reciprocity agreement: the Polytechnic University of Turin, the University of Turin, the University of Eastern Piedmont, the University of Aosta Valley.

The agreement guarantees mutual access to library facilities in accordance with the regulations in force at each institution. Users will be identified by presenting their university ID or smart card.

Under this agreement, students, faculty, and technical staff from each institution may freely and on a reciprocal basis access many of the services offered by all signatory libraries, including home loan services, photocopying and internet printing (in compliance with applicable regulations), and interlibrary services, which allow users to receive volumes and copies of articles or excerpts from volumes held by other libraries. All users will also have access to the bibliographic and documentary collections of the member institutions, with the clarification that access to electronic resources is permitted exclusively from computer workstations available on library premises.

Users may also access computer workstations and internet connectivity for bibliographic research and access to documentary resources selected in accordance with the mission and objectives of each library.

The member institutions are also committed to cooperating in the organization of staff training and development initiatives and in the implementation of further joint interlibrary projects, laying the groundwork for innovation in digital library services and the promotion of open access to cultural and scientific resources.

In the medium and long term, the member institutions share the ambition of collaborating to build and enhance knowledge through a culture of reading — in both print and digital formats — contributing to the social, cultural, and economic development of the region, and advancing their shared objectives in the area of Public Engagement.

The Online Library, developed with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo, provides access to electronic journals and databases. Articles and databases can be accessed from any internet connection using a university username and password.

*Note: To download the monthly PDF issue, registration on the website using a university email address is required (@unisg.it / @studenti.unisg.it / @master.unisg.it).
