Comparing Growth Models

Pollenzo – Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.

The Food Industry Monitor is the observatory on the food sector developed by the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo and Ceresio Investors. It analyzes the performance, evolution of business models, and market trends of Italian companies operating in the food industry.

The twelfth edition of the Food Industry Monitor presents growth projections for the food sector and its main segments in the Italian market and international markets, with particular attention to the 2026–2027 period. The analysis highlights the evolving dynamics of supply and demand, offering a specific focus on exports, considered a fundamental strategic driver for the competitiveness of Italian food products across different segments.

Alongside the quantitative analysis, the observatory includes a qualitative in-depth section dedicated to innovative strategies, understood as strategic choices aimed at targeting specific customer groups through distinctive market positioning. In this context, particular attention is given to the creation and management of business groups, multi-brand and multi-product strategies, which represent a key factor in strengthening scale, diversifying offerings, and enhancing the competitiveness of the agri-food sector.
