The UNISG Summer Schools are back!
The University of Pollenzo is organizing for July 2020 four Summer Schools dedicated to enthusiasts, students, professionals and operators in the food world.
- Science in the Kitchen. 13-17 July. Only in English.
- Wine Insights: A Dive into the Glass. 13-17 July. Only in English.
- Discovering Pastry: A World of Sweetness. 20-24 July. Only in English.
- Exploring Bread: A Look Behind the Loaf. 20-24 July. Only in Italian.
Five days of lessons, tastings, visits to producers, dinners at some of the best restaurants in the area and other convivial events: with professors and experts in the field from the University of Gastronomic Sciences, the only university in the world dedicated entirely to gastronomy.
A unique educational experience in the heart of the Langhe: Unesco heritage and Wine District par excellence of Piedmont.
In addition to the Summer Schools, the University of Pollenzo, in collaboration with Airbnb and Slow Food, will host 100 chefs from all over the world to participate in summer courses between June 15th and July 10th 2020. These chefs will learn to get to know the values of the “good, clean and fair” food with seminars, cooking activities, visits to producers and in-depth studies on the themes of gastronomy, sustainability and entrepreneurship
