Migranti Film Festival 2019
Following the paths of food and people
The third edition of the “Migranti Film Festival – the International Festival for Food, Meeting and Migration” will be held at the campus of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo (Bra) and in Turin, on June 28 and 29, 2019.
The Migranti Film Festival is an international cinema festival that aims to explore the movements of people, ideas and things.
The following films will be selected to be in competition: 4 features, 6 documentaries and 6 shorts from the rest of the world.
Space out of competition will be given to new languages.
Films will be selected based on their capacity to observe complexity, open up new horizons, incorporate new knowledge and explore mobility.
The deadline for submissions is May 17, 2019.

Comparison on the role of African women in Italy with the Collective of Italian African women with contributions by Marie Jeanne Balagizi and Bruna Milani. During the event the films in competition will be screened: “Golden fish, African fish” by Thomas Grand and Moussa Diop, “Daughter’s table” by Heui Song Son, “Ècharpe noir” by Barbara Fuentes and the short out of competition, winner of the David di Donatello 2019, “Frontier” by Alessandro Di Gregorio (with the presence of actor Bruno Orlando).Following the presentation of the RAI program “Roots” with the conductor-author Davide De Michelis and the Brazilian cake designer Liliam Altuntas, protagonist of one of the episodes.
