The 86 students are representatives of 24 different nations
In both February and March 2021, new students arrived and started their lessons for five of the University‘s annual programs: the Master in Food, Culture, Communication & Marketing, the Master of Gastronomy: Creativity, Ecology and Education, the Master of Gastronomy: World Food Cultures and Mobility, the Master in Applied Gastronomy: Culinary Arts, and the Master in Wine Culture and Communication.
The freshmen of each Master were welcomed by the UNISG staff in full compliance with the protocol for the containment of the spread of COVID-10, guaranteeing them assistance to make them feel part of a small but active community.
The courses are held in English and have always attracted an international audience, with excellent knowledge of the language and a great passion for the world of food.
The students – 86 young qualified women and men – have a degree of further qualifications in the most diverse disciplines and have often gained interesting training and work experiences over the years. They are representatives of 24 different nations: Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania, Russia, United States, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
Despite the pandemic, the multicultural environment continues to be a characterizing feature of the University of Pollenzo – just as the interest in the study of food in all its forms is confirmed as a growing trend, possibly more than ever.
Each Master class has had the opportunity to be introduced to the life of the university and to get to know the city of Bra, which will host them for the year.
A warm welcome to all the new students!
