National Day of Italian Universities
Thursday 20 March 2024 – UNISG also participates in the “Universities revealed” initiative
The University of Gastronomic Sciences accepted the invitation of the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI), joining the “Universities revealed” initiative.
On Thursday 20 March 2024, UNISG opens its doors to aspiring students, parents, teachers and all those who wish to visit the campus and learn about the teaching activities.
In Pollenzo it will be possible to visit the Savoy complex, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The university is located in two structures: in the one called Agenzia di Pollenzo, an imposing quadrilateral built by King Charles Albert of Savoy as a model agricultural company, there are the offices of the rectorate, the general management and the library which houses around 30,000 dedicated volumes to gastronomic sciences; while in the spaces of the Cascina Albertina there are the classrooms, laboratories and the teaching secretariat.
During the visit on 20 March it will be possible, in addition to discovering the evocative and historic spaces of Pollenzo, to learn about the training offer of UNISG, with its degree courses and masters.
