Salone del Gusto e Terra Madre - Garofalo Personal Shopper
The Garofalo-‐branded Personal Shopper tours are the result of a collaboration between the Slow Food University of Gastronomic Sciences Convivium and the pasta producer Garofalo. Visitors to the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre can discover the typical regional products of Italy, like rare mountain cheeses or an infinite variety of different beans. A special tour is “Return to the Land: Young People Following in Their Grandparents’ Footsteps,” an introduction to young farmers at the Salone. Accompanying visitors will be Marcella De Vita and Silvia Dal Molin from allaroundfood.blogspot.it and Alessandra Virno, a gastronomic sciences student and active member of Gente del Fud, Garofalo’s social food network, which currently has around 300 members.
