The book outlines a historical profile of the evolution of the laws protecting designations of origin for wine in Italy between 1904 and 2021, covering also the international context in which these regulations were generated and developed. The book reconstructs the parliamentary business and discussions in conferences and congresses, recounts the stories of the figures involved and interprets the relevant laws. The meeting will also be an opportunity to present the historical archive and the library of the Unione Italiana Vini.

We have adapted the organization of Seminars and Conferences in respect of the government health provisions to guarantee strict compliance from all those involved in the academic experience (students, teachers, administrative staff), in an effort to safeguard everyone’s safety.
