{"id":113525,"date":"2026-05-06T11:17:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:17:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unisg.it\/il-saggio-epistenologia-del-rettore-nicola-perullo-a-la-une-sulla-revue-du-vin-de-france\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T11:30:35","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:30:35","slug":"il-saggio-epistenologia-del-rettore-nicola-perullo-a-la-une-sulla-revue-du-vin-de-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unisg.it\/en\/il-saggio-epistenologia-del-rettore-nicola-perullo-a-la-une-sulla-revue-du-vin-de-france\/","title":{"rendered":"The essay \"Epistenology\" by Rector Nicola Perullo on Revue du Vin de France"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the editorial \u201c<strong>L<a href=\"https:\/\/www.larvf.com\/l-epistoenologie-repenser-le-vin-comme-experience,4914074.asp\">'\u00e9pist\u0153nologie: repenser le vin comme exp\u00e9rience<\/a><\/strong>\u201d published in the prestigious French journal \u201c<strong>Revue du Vin de France<\/strong>\u201d the renowned sommelier, author, and journalist <strong>Pascaline Lepeltier<\/strong> describes how, after years of experience in wine tasting, she discovered a new approach thanks to reading the French translation of the essay \u201c<strong>Epistenologia: il vino come filosofia<\/strong>\u201d by our <strong>rector Nicola Perullo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through neuroscience and philosophy, Lepeltier recognizes tasting as an experience that engages both body and mind, revealing our way of being in the world.<br>In Nicola Perullo\u2019s book\u2014explains the author\u2014a key distinction emerges: the \u201coptical\u201d approach, dominant and based on detached and objectifying analysis, and the \u201chaptic\u201d one, grounded instead in contact, relationship, and lived experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latter invites us to overcome the distance between subject and wine, conceiving tasting as a dynamic and transformative process in which both are altered.
