He remains in office for three years and can be reconfirmed up to a maximum of two consecutive terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Professor Nicola Perullo&nbsp;<\/strong>was named Rector of the University of Gastronomic Sciences on September 1st, 2024.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"oi-block oi-block-collapse\" ><div id=\"\" class=\"collapse-main \">\n    <a class=\"collapse-toggle\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" href=\"#collapse-block-5629\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"Deputy Rector\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n        <span class=\"h5 mb-0 fw-bold link-label\">\n            Deputy Rector        <\/span>\n        <div class=\"plus\">\n            <span><\/span>\n            <span><\/span>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n    <div id=\"collapse-block-5629\" class=\"collapse \" >\n        <div class=\"collapse-body\">\n            \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Deputy Rector substitutes the Rector in case of absence or inability, or whenever the Rector assigns them the task of representing the University on their behalf. Additionally, the Deputy Rector assists the Rector in the overall coordination of relations with the University\u2019s governing bodies and in steering planning activities. They also collaborate in the general supervision of activities related to Education, Research, and Third Mission. During their term, the Rector may entrust the Deputy Rector with overseeing specific areas or particular projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From September 18, 2024, the Deputy Rector of the University of Gastronomic Sciences is<strong>&nbsp;Prof. Luisa Torri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"oi-block oi-block-collapse\" ><div id=\"\" class=\"collapse-main \">\n    <a class=\"collapse-toggle\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" href=\"#collapse-block-2875\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"Delegations assigned by the Rector\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n        <span class=\"h5 mb-0 fw-bold link-label\">\n            Delegations assigned by the Rector        <\/span>\n        <div class=\"plus\">\n            <span><\/span>\n            <span><\/span>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n    <div id=\"collapse-block-2875\" class=\"collapse \" >\n        <div class=\"collapse-body\">\n            \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegate for Education \u2013 Prof. Donatella Saccone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the objectives defined by the University\u2019s strategic planning, the functions of the Delegate for Education focus mainly on supervising and coordinating all teaching activities, and verifying the results and quality of education, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Committee. The Delegate oversees the drafting of the Annual Programme Report (SUA-CdS) for undergraduate and graduate degree courses, as well as their reviews conducted by the course coordinators. This delegation also includes strengthening, enhancing, and rationalizing the educational offerings, optimizing teaching resources, promoting innovation in education, and refining and designing new study programs. The Delegate for Education conducts periodic assessments of the courses\u2019 educational goals, meets with faculty to encourage actions aimed at improving the quality of teaching, and monitors, together with the course coordinators, the implementation of the Pollenzo Charter. The Delegate also convenes periodic meetings of the Education Committee, which they coordinate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegate for Research \u2013 Prof. Andrea Pieroni<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the objectives defined by the University\u2019s strategic planning, the Delegate for Research promotes and coordinates research activities, with a particular focus on basic research, ensuring a variety of approaches and research fields in accordance with the multidisciplinary nature of the University. The Delegate promotes the evaluation of research quality, the development of competitive projects\u2014also in collaboration with other universities and national and international entities\u2014and the enhancement of interdisciplinary aspects of research to foster knowledge exchange and dismantle disciplinary barriers that limit the development of new initiatives. They support the internationalization of research, open science practices, and initiatives aimed at improving the connection between research and educational activities, in coordination with the Delegate for Education. The Delegate contributes to the dissemination and promotion of research results, in coordination with the Delegate for the Third Mission. They are responsible for drafting the Annual Research Report (SUA-RD), which outlines the research objectives pursued by the University, documents research activities conducted, and monitors their quality. They also conduct reviews of research activities, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential improvements. The Delegate for Research convenes periodic meetings of the Research Committee, which they coordinate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegate for the Third Mission \u2013 Prof. Franco Fassio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the objectives defined by the University\u2019s strategic planning, the Delegate for the Third Mission promotes and coordinates actions supporting the University\u2019s Third Mission. In particular, they coordinate and promote training activities for third parties\u2014in collaboration with the Executive Training Office\u2014continuing education, and knowledge dissemination, highlighting the importance of scientific research and the University\u2019s responsibility toward society. The Delegate also promotes the development of projects and spin-offs through targeted actions for strategic partners, supporting members, and other stakeholders. They coordinate actions related to industrial property (patents), incubators, and technology transfer. The Delegate collaborates with the University\u2019s governing bodies and other Delegates in managing relations with the community, social actors, and local institutions, promoting public engagement activities. They are responsible for drafting the Annual Third Mission Report (SUA-TM), which outlines the objectives pursued by the University through its third mission activities, documents these activities, and monitors their quality. The Delegate also conducts reviews of third mission activities, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement. The Delegate for the Third Mission convenes periodic meetings of the Third Mission Committee, which they coordinate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegate for Internationalization and Alumni \u2013 Prof. Simone Cinotto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the objectives defined by the University\u2019s strategic planning, the Delegate for Internationalization promotes the enhancement of the University\u2019s role in the European and international contexts, ensuring the implementation of strategic development lines in establishing and strengthening international agreements and networks. They propose the creation of agreements and programs with international universities and research and\/or educational entities. The Delegate collaborates with the Erasmus coordinator to promote and support the international mobility of faculty and administrative staff and works with recruitment officials to increase the number of international students at the University, identifying key geographical areas and promoting related actions to enhance the University\u2019s reputation. They also propose communication strategies to the Rector to highlight the University\u2019s international commitment and activities in their various forms. Finally, the Delegate collaborates on initiatives to strengthen the Alumni network and their association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Delegate for Institutional Relations \u2013 Prof. Silvestro Greco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the objectives defined by the University\u2019s strategic planning, the Delegate for Institutional Relations manages, in constant collaboration with the Rector and other university bodies, the University\u2019s relationships and representation with political institutions, as well as national and international foundations and research entities (in collaboration with the Delegate for Research). The Delegate promotes and enhances the University\u2019s reputation with these entities and proposes the activation of agreements and projects starting from this field.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"oi-block oi-block-collapse\" ><div id=\"\" class=\"collapse-main \">\n    <a class=\"collapse-toggle\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" href=\"#collapse-block-4171\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"Accademic Council\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n        <span class=\"h5 mb-0 fw-bold link-label\">\n            Accademic Council        <\/span>\n        <div class=\"plus\">\n            <span><\/span>\n            <span><\/span>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/a>\n    <div id=\"collapse-block-4171\" class=\"collapse \" >\n        <div class=\"collapse-body\">\n            \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Academic Council is vested with all powers relating to the ordering, planning and coordination of teaching and research activities, which are not reserved for other organs of the University and teaching and research facilities. staff member of the university that is considered not to have complied with the regulations in force or the university\u2019s code of ethics, protecting the injured party from any retaliation, acting to settle the matter, and reporting their conclusions to the relevant body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ombudsman&nbsp;is prof.&nbsp;<strong>Gabriella and program enrollment regulations, with the Rector, who has the authority to appoint a Disciplinary Commitee, composed of at least two faculty members of the University, the University Administrative Director or his delegate, and at least one student representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Disciplinary Commitee is composed of:<br>Michele Fino, Associate Professor<br>Lorenzo           \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to Article 17.2 of the Code of Ethics, the Ethics Committee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>promotes the knowledge and dissemination of the Code of Ethics and the principles it is based on, also through appropriate training and awareness programs on the Code\u2019s content;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>assesses the application of the Code of Ethics concerning the activities of all recipients;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discusses ethically sensitive issues related to university life;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>upon request, the Ethics Committee provides advice to University staff on ethically sensitive matters;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensures the periodic review and updating of the present Code of Ethics to adapt it to any changes in the organizational and managerial structure of UNISG, to the evolution of civil sensitivity, environmental conditions, and regulations, proposing the related amendments to the Executive
