Since February 2023 he has been a researcher at the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo where he mainly works on audiovisual culture and communication. He also teaches media history at the University of Udine. Between November 2018 and January 2023, he was a research fellow at the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna. In 2017 he obtained his PhD from the School of Media and Communication of the University of Leeds (UK), writing a thesis on The Sustainability of Film Heritage: Cultural Policy, Digitalisation and Value. Over the years, he has developed expertise in cultural policy studies, film heritage, international circulation of TV series, and television acting as cultural labour. He has published extensively on these topics both in international scientific journals \u2013 such as the International Journal of Cultural Policy and Information, Communication and Society \u2013 and in Italian ones \u2013 such as Cin\u00e9ma&Cie and Studi Culturali. He has also had work experience in the film restoration and archiving sectors in Brussels (CINEMTEK), Munich (ARRI Film&TV) and Amsterdam (Haghefilm). He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Studi Culturali (Il Mulino), of the UK Higher Education Academy, and of the Consulta Universitaria Cinema (CUC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Pollenzo he works on the communication and dissemination activities of the project NODES \u2013 Nord Ovest Digitale e Sostenibile. Financed through PNRR government funds, the project aims to contribute to the sustainable growth and technological development of Piedmont, Valle D'Aosta, and some provinces of Lombardy. In Pollenzo he is also involved in teaching and in the communication and public engagement activities of the university.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n
