Chiara Flora Bassignana is a research fellow at the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, where she works within the Agroecology group. She is currently involved in the European project ALL-FACTS - Agroecology Living Labs for accelerating transition<\/em>, and previously worked on the HORIZON 2020 project RADIANT - Realising Dynamic Value Chains for Underutilised Crops<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her research focuses on agroecology and biocultural diversity, with particular attention to the themes of new ruralisms, commons, gender, and intersectionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She holds a PhD in Ecogastronomy, Education and Society from UNISG, with research on emerging agricultural trajectories and food practices in the Western Italian Alps. She graduated in Biodiversity Conservation at the University of Turin with a thesis on butterfly ecosystem restoration conducted at Wageningen University in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to research, she teaches in several master\u2019s and bachelor\u2019s programs at UNISG and other universities, and contributes to training activities on agroecology and sustainable food systems.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n
