This year UNISG offers a journey to discover the most iconic Piedmontese wines, with insights into history, places and people who determine their success, the link between land, climate and sensory characteristics, economics and market strategies which made them famous all over the world.

Four days during which very topical issues will emerge such as sustainability in its various forms and climate change to which the future of Italian wine depends

Seminars conducted by UNISG professors and experts, workshops and guided tastings which will alternate with convivial moments and educational visits to the Langhe wine region

  • The HISTORY of Langhe wines from their origins to the 80s

  • SENSORY ANALYSIS tests in the lab to recognize the flavours and aromas of wines and to discover their differences

  • HISTORY: the last 40 years in the Langhe wine region
  • CRUs – 4 production areas for 4 vintages – with tasting

Confirmation Process: Upon achieving the required minimum number of participants, you will receive an email from summerschool@unisg.it, confirming the acceptance of your application. This email will include instructions for the submission of a deposit of 150€ + 22% VAT.

Waiting List: In the event that the number of applications surpasses the available spaces, applicants not initially selected will be placed on a waiting list. Should any spaces become available, individuals on the waiting list will be notified.

Final Payment: Subsequently, an email will be sent regarding the second payment of the outstanding balance, which must be settled by July 3, 2023. Failure to complete this payment by the stipulated deadline will result in the risk of losing your spot to an applicant on the waiting list.

 

Refunds and Cancellations:

Refunds: Should the course not reach the minimum number of participants, the deposit (150€ + 22% VAT) will be refunded. Please note that under no other circumstances will refund of the deposit be issued.

Cancellations: If you have already paid the second installment and wish to cancel your participation, you must communicate this intention via email to summerschool@unisg.it by July 3, 2023. In this scenario, 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded. Beyond this date, no refunds for cancellations will be granted.
