BIOGRAPHY

Gino Gabriel Bonetti (1998) is a research fellow in the “HealthyW8: Empowering Healthy Lifestyle Behaviour” European project. He contributes to the development of a multi-level intervention to address obesity in Europe, considering various levels: individual, interpersonal, organizational, community, and public policy, to tackle obesity as a complex phenomenon.

He graduated with honors in 2022 with a Master’s degree in Food Innovation and Management from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. His thesis, titled “Social Media Strategies of Digital Tribalism: The Case of Veganism,” analyzed users in the United States and Europe on one of the largest vegan review platforms, exploring language, identity, and the role of media in encouraging and developing such relationships.

His interests include the analysis of digital environments and platforms, new media, and their relationship with sociology and studies on social fabric.
