BIOGRAPHY

Alice is a gastronome graduated at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, Pollenzo, in 2017. She graduated ‘Cum Laude’ at the Master of Science called ‘Innovation and Rural Development’ at the university of Wageningen, Netherlands, in 2019.

During the Master she did research in Brazil. Particularly, she did a sociological analysis of agroforestry systems with the objective of comprehending the reasons why farmers decide to practice sustainable agriculture. Moreover, in 2019, she did an internship at the International Fund for Rural Development (IFAD), in the headquarter of ONU in Salvador, Brazil, where she supervised the execution of the project ‘Empowering Indigenous Youth and Their Communities To Defend And Promote Their Food Heritage’ funded by the Fund. Currently, she is a research fellow at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, for the project AE4EU ‘Agroeocology for Europe’.

The research activity concerns, firstly, the facilitation of exchanges among the European agroecology network’s members; secondly, the creation of a Social Network Analysis to comprehend the stakeholders’ involvement in different agroecological initiatives; thirdly, the creation and management of an online platform (Hub); finally, the realisation and facilitation of network events, living labs (LL) and focus group.
