Research Grants
Per Art. 51, para. 6 of Italian Law no. 449 dated December 27, 1997, the University may, within budgetary constraints and assuring correct disposition, appropriate procedures of comparative evaluation, and public announcement of proceedings, confer grants for research activity assignments.
Research Grants Co-Financed by the Region of Piedmont
On July 30, 2007, an agreement was signed between the Region of Piedmont, the University of Torino, Torino Polytechnic, the University of Eastern Piedmont, and the University of Gastronomic Sciences for the development of a research and higher-studies system.
This agreement outlines the initiation of activity in four key areas:
- containment of the brain drain
- return from abroad of Italian researchers working in schools and research centers in and outside of Europe
- attracting non-Italian researchers interested in practice within university labs in Piedmont
- attracting Italian or non-Italian visiting professors, currently working at schools and research centers outside of Italy, and developing activities consistent with those of the Piedmontese host institution.
Further to the approval of the Integrative Act for the Agreement of 2007, as well as for 2008, the Region of Piedmont will co-finance research grants for the key areas of activity as per the original agreement.

Further to the agreement stipulated between the University of Gastronomic Sciences and the Fondazione CRT for the activation of research grants within the Progetto Master dei Talenti, aimed at increasing the internationalization of UNISG, the University has officially announced the following proceedings of comparative evaluation for the selection of grant recipients.
