Biography
Paolo Corvo is a UNISG researcher in General Sociology and Social Research Methods, and teaches Environmental and Territorial Sociology in the three-year undergraduate program as well as Sociology of Food and Wine Tourism in the two-year graduate program.
Professor Corvo’s work also deals with the relationships between typical products, local and sustainable economics, globalization processes, and the dynamics of civil society. He has developed research and training projects for both public and private organizations on tourism and socioeconomic regional development, social policies, and the third sector.
As well as numerous articles and essays, published works include: I mondi nella valigia. Introduzione alla sociologia del turismo (Vita e Pensiero, Milano 2003); Turisti e felici? Il turismo tra benessere e fragilità (Vita e Pensiero, Milano 2007); and “Ego-sustainability,” in Gastronomic Sciences, 3/08.
