Paola Migliorini
Biography
Paola Migliorini is a staff researcher in Agronomy and Plant Cultivation at the University of Gastronomic Sciences. A member of the teaching faculty, she is responsible for the undergraduate courses Plant Production and Agro-Biodiversity, as well as Sustainable and Organic Agriculture in the master program. Professor Miglorini received her undergraduate degree (with honors) in Agrarian Science and Technology at the University of Florence, and in 2006 received a research doctorate, working as a researcher until 2010.
Registered in the Albo dei Dottori Agronomi e Forestali of the province of Florence since 2000, Migliorini worked for a number of years in organic agriculture, and since 2005 has been the coordinator of the working group Ricerca e Sviluppo di IFOAM Agribiomediterraneo. She has participated as coordinator or partner on numerous international, national, regional, and provincial research projects, and has published over 50 works in international and national journals, monographs, book chapters, conference proceedings, and other editions.
