Biography
Paola Migliorini, a PhD and agronomist, is a researcher at UNISG, where she teaches Crop Production in the three-year undergraduate program in Pollenzo, and Sustainable Agriculture in the master program in Food Culture and Communications in Colorno.
Her areas of interest are ecological agriculture and agroecology, organic and sustainable food production, sustainability indicators, soil fertility, biodiversity, energy efficiency, and gender and agriculture.
She is coordinator of the Research and Development Working Group of IFOAM-AgriBioMediterraneo Regional Board; a member of the Agronomist Society of Florence; a member of International Society of Organic Agriculture Research, and a member of the Women’s Network for Food Safety and Protection of Biodiversity, supported by Regione Toscana and International Commission for the Future of Food and Agriculture.
