Biography
From 1983 to 2007, Professor Malagoli was professor of Territorial and Environmental Evaluation within the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bologna. Since 2007, he has been professor of Food Business Economics, Social Evaluation, and Food Ethics at UNISG in Pollenzo.
He was a member of the Italian Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Forestry’s Security Commission on GMOs, as well as a member of its Techno-Scientific Council, and commissioner of the Italian National Rice Board. He is also an evaluator of research projects for the Ministry of Universities, Education, and Research, and was national coordinator of the research project financed by the Ministry of Food, Research on Organic Development Strategies.
His primary areas of research are Organic Agriculture, GMOs, neutraceuticals, and nanotechnology as applied in the agricultural sector.
